Another senior athlete from Sutherlin commits to Umpqua Community College. Senior jumper and sprinter Jadyn Vermillion committed to continue her athletic career in both track & field and basketball. In her sophomore year, Jadyn finished as the state champion in the long jump as well as runner up in the triple jump and the 200m dash. "Jadyn is an all around great athlete that will make an immediate impact in both our jump and sprint events," said Coach King. 

Jadyn plans on studying nursing.
