UCC traveled to Coos Bay, OR last Saturday to take on SWOCC, resulting in a 0-0 tie. With 4 players out due to injury and limited subs SWOCC outshot UCC, resulting in 10 saves for Yessenia Morales and 7 saves for Alexis Bates. Both teams are currently fighting for 3rd place in the Southern Region to secure a spot in the NWAC Playoffs.

The Hawks bounced back this Saturday with a 2-0 win over Lane. Jenna Ashbridge found the back of the net twice on through balls through the back line, scoring her first two collegiate goals for the RiverHawks. 

UCC has their last conference game of the season this Wednesday as they travel to Clark to play the undefeated Peguins. The match result, as well as the SWOCC vs PCC match up, determines if the Hawks will advance to the NWAC playoffs in the first year of the program's history.
