The UCC Men's Basketball Program are pleased to announce the Recruiting class of 2025, and the subsequent team.
The RiverHawks are coming off a 20 win season and were at one stage 19-3 before injuries took their toll. "We had a very talented team last year, one that could have made a big run in the playoffs but unfortunately our leading scorer Mikey Lloyd broke his finger and we became an inconsistent team down the stretch. There were certain things we looked for in this recruiting class. We wanted to get better shooters, rebounders, point guard play, perimeter defense, more depth, and guys that love to hoop, and I feel we nailed it. I am very bullish at our chances to have not only a successful year but a historic year" Coach Leeworthy said.
The team return Mikey Lloyd 6'6 Wing (Jerome, Idaho) who averaged 18.8 points, and Spencer Krainich (Mountain Ridge, Utah) 6'5 Guard who averaged 9.2 points. As well as Roseburg natives Mark Oja and Jullian Lopez. Although the majority of players are all-conference award winners, the recruiting class features 6A 1st teamers Caden Hunter (Liberty, Arizona), Jack Anderton (Highland, Utah), and 5A 1st teamer Titan Larsen (Hillcrest, Idaho).
